Columbian Coffee Beans

Columbia in the third largest world producer of coffee. It traditionally only grows the premium Arabica coffe bean. The rainforest, altitude and soil of the Andes mountain ranges produce the ideal environment for coffee growing. Some farms are situated at altitudes of 6,400 ft which helps create the acidity much sought after in the finest espresso.

Columbian coffee is known for its medium body, slightly sweet, subtle acidity. It is easily identified by its dark colouration and a walnut aftertaste. You may also see the term 'Columbian roast' which refers to coffee made from beans grown in the Andes.
