La Marzocco, the seated lion with the crest of the Florentine Lily, is the quintessential Italian coffee maker. Still based in Florence the company was one of the pioneers of the first ever coffee machines. Founded in 1927 the company went on to patent the first horizontal boiler and later in its history the dual boiler.
